Responsabilidades / Responsibilities

Purpose

Serve as a prime contact between Bridgestone - Mining Solutions & Off The Road (OTR) - and distributors in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean to:

  1. Strengthen business foundation with each customer by establishing solution business to maximize customer and social value.
  2. Achieve and maximize sales targets through activities near the customer's operation.
  3. Promote our Mining Solutions, providing "customer value", by ensuring customer trust.
  4. Provide technical support, participate in field tests and training on the use of Off the Road tires.

 

Responsibilities

  • Visit Mining, Industrial and Construction customers to provide technical support with a focus on ""solutions approach"". SCOPE: Mexico and Central America".                                         
  • Establish solution and/or sales proposal with Bridgestone teammates and external partners based on the biz strategy and customer's pain point mentioned above.
  • Enhance sales and business strategy with Bridgestone teammates and external partners by collecting demand and competitive information (with 5P perspective) from customers.
  • Periodically report to customer by meeting multiple departments at site to present values and make progress on the solutions.
  • Perform field verification activities with several analysis.
  • Collect market (customer) voice and make reports (to customer and Bridgestone Japan) to explain all the activities that developed during each technical visit.
  • Attend clients claim adjustment ensuring tire record and scrap classification to keep client trust.
  • Periodical report to Bridgestone Corporation (Japan) related to information verified on-field, client situation, competitor movements for product planning / development.
  • Make field testing (GPS, TKPH, Heat study, Weight study, scrap review) and evaluation of our performance.      

Requisitos / Qualifications

Requirements

 

Education: Engineering Background

Language: English (Proficient) - Fluent communication with stakeholders

Essential Experience: OTR tire inspection, Claim adjustment, Solution presentation.

 

Technical Knowledge: 

  • Tire feature, structure, and standards. BS's OTR Tire and related products/ service.
  • Word (2 - basic), Excel (3 - intermediate), PPT (2 - basic)
  • [Desirable] BI tool such as PBI (2 - basic), Programming for Data analytics such as Python

Competencies:

  • Analytical capability
  • Communication Capability to talk with customer upon visit and no hesitation on-site physical field work.
  • Self-Control ability (Work constantly without superior’s supervision) and inquisitive mind toward issue solving.
